One (1) Senior Science Research Specialist, SG-19

Minimum Requirements:

Education:       Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job

Experience:     Two (2) years of relevant experience

Training:          Eight (8) hours of relevant training

Eligibility:         Career Service Professional Second Level Eligibility

 

Preferred Qualification:

  1. Master’s Degree preferably in Business Administration or Business Management;
  2. With strong background in business management and investments; and
  3. With Industry experience and vast/reliable network.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake technical evaluation and assess project proposal with emphasis on technical viability, marketing and economic viability of the project/technology considered for assistance;
  2. Undertake gathering, compilation, analysis, integration, and preparation of relevant data for projects/technologies submitted for funding assistance;
  3. Assist the Chief Science Research Specialist, Supervising Science Research Specialist, and other Senior Science Research Specialist in the conduct of the review and evaluation of the Technology Transfer Programs;
  4. Manage one or two IBOD programs of assistance;
  5. Conceptualize, develop or create program/s or service/s or innovative existing program to support implementation of IBOD’s programs;
  6. Collaborate with other technical divisions in the development and commercialization of identified technologies;
  7. Coordinate with various government and private agencies on the commercialization of identified technologies;
  8. Attend meetings, conference, seminars, and workshops in relation to duties and responsibilities of the Technology Transfer Programs; and
  9. Perform other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
